MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2014

Design Unveiled

Revealing three ambitious new designs set in a beautiful Italian palazzo, experimental lighting design studio WonderGlass celebrates its first anniversary at the Salone del Mobile this year. Since its official launch in Milan last year, WonderGlass has continued to draw on the time-honoured expertise of Venetian master glassblowers, introducing a contemporary approach with the collaboration of artists and designers of international renown, and the most advanced research in lighting technology.

The exhibition celebrates ancient Venetian craftsmanship by collaborating with world-class architects: Claesson Koivisto Rune, John Pawson, and Zaha Hadid. The latest creations are joined by a new white edition of the iconic Flow[T] lighting system by Nao Tamura. The collection of glass installations and chandeliers create a surreal, magical atmosphere with subtle colours and a dreamlike play of light forming a world that captures the imagination.
